Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/21/2006

Number: 1

Two weeks ago today (September 21, 2006), I saw the most marvelous sight of my life. While walking my dogs in a nearby field behind my newly built home, I discovered what I thought was a lot of
butterflies. I came to realize very quickly that there weren't
just a lot, there was a plethora of monarchs just fluttering above the field (25+ acres?) of milk weed and golden rod. I was flabergasted by this event as I've never seen such a sight.
