Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/08/2006

Number: 1

I drove to Wichita Falls Friday and Sunday and the Monarchs are migrating. I'd say 15- 20 per mile Sunday. Less Friday.

We have new growth of A. viridis. I have about 30 in less than a mile on my FM road. They're small and have only one flower. Monarchs also visit the native sunflowers, Maximillians and liatris.
