I checked out the Shawnee Twin Lakes in Pottawatomie County today.
We walked about halfway around Lake # 2 and the base of the dam on the east side of the road. The wind was blowing to beat the band so we had to kick them out of the weeds until it warmed up.

Lots of Monarchs but no southward movement was observed. Some were still displaying but I only saw one pair in copula. Only a couple showed any signs of wear.
