Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/09/2006

Number: 1

We have been enjoying the Monaarch's for about five days now. Monday, October 9, students had a holiday from school. My grandchildren and their friends were lying on the trampoline looking a the sky around noon...naming cloud figures, when they saw some little black dots in the blue sky overhead. Soon the number of dots grew larger and larger. They were so excited when they thought about the Monarch's migrating. There were thousands flying high overhead. They were moving ahead of the next cool front that was coming in with mild winds. What a sight! We are eagerly awaiting the next influx of visitors.
