Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/12/2006

Number: 1

We took a walk in our neighborhood in Northeast San Antonio tonight around 7:30 (dusk)and we discovered 1000s of monarchs flying in the lights of our neighborhood tennis court. We watched and they began to settle in the dark trees nearby. We returned awhile later to find the trees full of the monarchs roosting for the night. A fascinating sight!
