Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/03/2006

Number: 1

We had peak migration this week. We saw a lot of monarchs all week long. On Oct. 3, many students reported lots of butterflies. One student reported 67 in 30 minutes. Other students had similar numbers. They had to watch at home, since it was fall break at school. They were beautiful and we had a lot of fun watching for them. We waited two weeks, to make sure it was peak migration here.
