We planted our tulips today!!!!
We did it with teamwork. We all had our own assigned jobs. We planted in our teacher's garden (it backs onto our school field). Our teacher shares the chain-link fence with the school so we can look through the fence anytime we want and it's completely protected from any damage. We will be visiting the garden lots this year to make scientific observations.
The outside temperature was 5 degrees celcius. (The day's high was 16 degrees C and the low was -3 degrees C.
The temperature of our soil was 10 degrees C (50 degrees F).
We also planted two more tulip bulbs so we can dig them up later in the year to see what's happening underground.
