A student sighted a pair of monarchs mating in the air today. This is the first time we have observed this in 10 years of tagging. My four life science classes have been tagging this year. Students are allowed to go to the garden in groups of 6 to try their luck at capturing a monarch to tag. We have tagged 150 so far this year.
