As of this morning, one female hummer is still here, I am getting a little concerned--morning temps have been around 30 degrees, but even at those temps, she is flitting through the garden, feeding mostly on the flowers, occasionally going to the feeder. I hope that folks to the south keep their feeders out a little longer and dont do too much fall cleanup so she will have a pathway of food to follow when she decides to go. Last year it was Oct. 17th when she left, but it also was warmer.
