On Monday (10/16) the day started out cloudy, wet and cool in Norman, OK. By 1:00 p.m. clouds cleared and temps warmed to upper 60's with a light south wind. I walked to a field to see if there was any activity and found about 100 monarchs nectaring in the crownbeard. No directional movement was observed during the 45 minutes I spent watching.
