Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 10/19/2006

Number: 1

Last Friday, we mailed our butterflies! Grades Kindergarten through five were really excited at the idea of being Butterfly Ambassadors to Mexico. Many of them have never been out of the state, let alone the country, so the idea that something they made was going to venture out was amazing to them. They really enjoyed making their butterflies. The students decorated the butterflies so beautifully and each truly reflects the personality of its designer. The students are anxiously waiting for the spring for their new butterfly friends to arrive at the school. We know another nearby school who did the same project and think that it’s cool that our butterflies are going to the same place.
