Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 10/19/2006

Number: 1

In our geographic area I have seen 10-12 Monarchs a day,not includinga few days of rain. Not large numbers but small numbers. They are feeding on Zinnias, Butterfly Bush, and various Lantana, especially Ms. Huff Lantana. However many flowers are disappearing and the flower beds are changing over to Pansys. So nectar is becoming a little scarse.
