In Southwest Texas, near where Independence creek flows into the Pecos River, there is a gorgeous, crystal clear spring that flows into a pool, that then flows into Independence creek. This place is called Oasis ranch. We spent the weekend of Oct 14 there, and there were thousands of Monarchs flying around and roosting in the huge Pecan trees right next to the springs.
