I have two tropical milkweeds in my front yard and two in backyard (so far). I was at a gardening club where the butterfly farm speaker had mentioned that it would be like a needle in a haystack for a Monarch to find the milkweed. The Monarchs have found both patches and they are laying eggs. Today, I actually saw the Monarch laying eggs so I knew it wasn't a Queen.
