Here in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, we've been seeing a steady stream of monarchs today although the numbers are small - 1 or 2 a minute this morning and fewer this afternoon. The temperature is in the 70's, with clear skies and wind from the NW at 8. The monarchs were heading south this morning but south-southeast late this afternoon.
Along with the monarchs, we're seeing a large migration of red admirals.
