On Monday, October 30th, we planted some tulips. Each of us got a tulip and before we planted them, we weighed them and mine was 32 grams, the biggest was 48 g. We measured around the fattest part of the tulip and mine was 13 cm. After that, we planted them 7 inches deep. Some of the planting places were really muddy. I put my tulip in the soil and then pushed loose soil on top. I stuck a popsicle in to mark the spot.
My tulip bulb is missing a lot of protective skin, which is bad because the tulips need protective skin. Still, I hope my tulip survives, but even if it does, it will probably be weaker than the others. We like the idea of planting tulips!!
