We planted our three red emperor tulip bulbs in our garden. The site was far enough away from our house, our driveway and the road we live on to meet planting requirements. The spot is a sunny to partial shady spot. We marked the location with sticks stuck in the ground around the site so that we'll be easily able to find the right spot in the spring. After all, we want to report on the right growing event in our yard.
Did we mention just how lovely it is to think of spring with winter at our doorstep and having this project to look forward throughout the cold, dark season.
