To commemorate the birthday of the Marine Corps today, the 10th of November,the elementary Montessori classes (Grades1,2,and 3) of Ms.Orbos and Ms. Sinopoli planted 100 tulip bulbs alongside the playground at John Hanson Montessori School.

We dedicated the Tulips Project to all those who serve in the military, especially the Marines who are in active duty, who are retired, or who have died in the service of our country.
In particular, we dedicated it to Dr. Williams, our principal, who is a retired Marine, to Mrs. Thayer's husband ( music teacher), who is in active duty serving in Korea and to Mr. Hudson, the father of Mya and Tyra Hudson(Montessori students), who died in the line of duty.
