Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/20/2006

Number: 1

After what seemed like two weeks of torrential rains, we were able to plant our tulip bulbs today when we had a short break.

We have only had a few light frosts so it was easy to plant the bulbs since the ground isn't frozen yet. Even still, it was a bit late to plant them for our area.

We called our project - Operation Tulip.

My students are all fired up to read about the other gardens around the continent that have planted the bulbs so we'll hook up the power point projector tomorrow .

Would love a partner class if anyone is interested
