We planted 100 Red Emperor tulip bulbs today in the front garden at Floris school. Over 100 sixth graders did the digging. It was fun. We predict Floris's bulbs will erupt around the middle of April.
It was cold today, in the thirties, it may rain soon, which the bulbs will like. We plan to mulch the bulb site in December.
