Our after school 4-H JMG Environmental Club (13 members, Grades 3 - 5) kicked off in October by measuring the circumference of tulip bulbs and charting our grou0p results. Every member planted at least one bulb in November. Digging was easy for the first 4 inches, and then the clay slowed them down (but didn't stop them). The temperature on Nov. 28th was an unseasonable 71 degrees!
