Happy Holidays! Had a very large blue heron in the fish pond this evening-unusual for the end of December. Also have a few blossoms on the honeysuckle, the clematis is leafing out, fat buds on one blueberry, foxglove is green and growing, dianthus has buds and even a salvia greggi has leaf buds--not many goldfinches around yet, hear alot are still to the north. Not many juncos either, this unusually warm weather has affected the behavior of many plants and animals. Bears are still out and about, chipmunks too. Global warming???!!!!
