Rufous Hummingbirds - overwintering: 3 female RFHU were observed at my feeders on 12/31/2006 and again on 1/1/2007. Thus they were the last hummingbirds observed in 2006 and the first observed in 2007. These birds are spending the winter in the Hondo Creek drainage within the Rio Hondo Ranch Subdivision.
