Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/17/2007

Number: 1

We (my children and I) spotted about a dozen Robins in and around our yard today. They seemed to be traveling in a pack. They had white downy feathers mixed in with the orange/red, so they seemed to be ready for winter. I was concerned because I thought Robins were a sign of Spring, and I don't remember seeing them in winter before. The unseasonably warm temperatures may have them around, but today was the first frigid day (about 20 degrees or less).
