Observed a Bald Eagle feeding on a dead deer carcas at the edge of a field on Route 54 between Waupaca and Lanark WI--Time was approx 12:30pm. I couldn't beleve my eyes--the Eagle stood out against the stark white background of the snow covered field. I was in awe--1st time I have seen one!! It took off in flight--what a wing span. I will try to spot it again, if I can.
