We saw 8 robins in a grassy area this afternoon. This is during a week in which we have had temps. in the 40's, some light snow, and more snow expected by 1/26/07. After that, we are supposed to have our warm, spring-like weather.

Over the winter, I saw one robin in a neighbor's yard. A mockingbird has stayed for the winter in my backyard. Could this be due to our heavy rains late last summer and increased vegetation?
