There was easily a hundred robins in my front and back yards today, and for several blocks in both directions of my house every yard had fifty or more birds. I have a small tree in the back yard that has berries that are ripe and the tree was bending under the weight of the birds. They were also enjoying hunting for insects in the grass and in the flower gardens. They were very noisy, and did not seem alarmed by my presence in the yard. It was exciting!
