Merry Christmas!!!!First measurable snow of the season is falling, it is about time winter got here. The cold snap came just in time to put all the plants back to sleep, hopefully before the buds had developed to point of being damaged by the cold. Daffodils were up about 6 inches, but they should be alright. The winter honeysuckle blossoms lasted about a week. Perhaps the rest of the winter weather will be normal from now on, the bears can finally go to sleep, the birds can complete their migrating south, the plants can finish their winter rest and we can look forward to an OFFICIAL SPRINGS JOURNEY NORTH!!
