I saw a male robin outside my house on Thursday, February 1, 2007. He was just sitting in a bush until I drove the car out of my garage. Where do robins spend the winter? Do the New England robins migrate south or do they spend winters in the woods? I've never seen a robin at this time of the year in the northeast. I'm a native of Vermont, have lived in Massachusetts for 24 years and robins are not seen usually until April. I was so thrilled but also concerned!
