We had 2 Robins until January 14, 2007. One was weakened and was taken to a wildlife hospital on the 14th. One was still here today in spite of temperatures near Minus 30 deg Celcius.
We feed it daily with raisins and chopped apples and chopped frozen crabapples from a tree in the yard. Sometimes it feeds on the flowering crabapple as in the Dec. 11 picture.
Two Robins appeared on December 4, there were 3 on December 5. There were then 2 from Dec 6 to Jan 14.
The American Robin was here today and continues to come daily.
