Today at 12:50 pm at Lake Shabbonna Illinois. ( Rt 30.) I was going to look for deer and ice fishermen. On the way out of the park I saw 3 American Robins. Now I don't know if they migrated or if they just stayed here in illinois due to warm weather in November. Upon arrival at my home in Paw Paw/Earlvile I again saw one individual robin. They are almost 1 to 2 weeks earlier than last year. Ten to 15 years ago my grandmother and I wouldn't see them until March or April. They keep comming home earlier year after year... if they even leave. Strange...seeing Juncos and American Robins together.
