About 100 + robins flew across road into snowy juniper scrub with Cedar Waxwings and Starlings, and at least 60 more seen at Prince Edward Point a few km further south in similar habitat. These have not been present in such numbers on previous trips through the area in January ( only ones and twos then) , but the cold weather here may have concentrated the ones wintering into these flocks. A few were singing in -16 degree weather!
