There are no over-wintering Robins in Gowganda but they were here in large numbers very late into the fall ( November). I had one in Dec.
Our area has received very little snow..many areas in the bush have only a few inches of the stuff. One can drive down most side roads with a 4x 4. On January 5th my husband took pictures of our area...no snow...one could mow the lawns. We haven't even had a snow storm yet. ( 2-4 cms at a time.) The lakes are finally frozen over , although some areas on the rivers and streams are not.
