While at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden, my husband and I spotted a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird visiting some red tubular-shaped flowers in the "rainforest" section. She was easily viewed and identified through our binoculars. Everyone was just thrilled to pieces, including the volunteer who'd originally pointed her out to us, who said she'd never seen a 'winter hummingbird' in the gardens before! (And this was a Florida first for us as well.)
