Tulips EMERGED

Date: 02/05/2007

Number: 1

The east coast has been experiencing an unusually warm winter. December and January have recorded record high temperatures. As I walked passed West New York, New Jersey's, PS #1 School's 2005-2006 tulip garden, I noticed that some of last years bulbs had begun to sprout. The weather this past week has been bitter cold and temperatures fell well below freezing. I hope that the bulbs will survive and that we will have tulips in both of our gardens this spring.
