The first Wednesday bird walk went to Englishman River Estuary, Shellt Road side in Parksville (49° 19' 00" N - 124° 19' 00"
W), among the highlites were nine Brant Geese, three Greater White-fronted Geese, two Eurasian Wigeon and a Peregrine Falcon perched on a fir tree. Eleven birders found the following 46
species:
