My first sighting was Feb. 3rd. There were four robins that came into the crab apple tree in my front yard. The day was clear and probably in the 20's. They didn't stay very long, then flew off.

I have seen one robin return to the yard over the last couple of days. It was getting a drink from the bird bath. I have a winter spray hanging on my front porch and the robin has been eating the black alder berries on it. It has also been hoping around pecking at the ground and snow perhaps finding snow fleas?

I found your web site as I was looking for information on what robins will eat this time of year. Any suggestions?
