I think the robins have eaten every berry in my neighborhood. There are a few danglers around but most are on other streets in my 'hood and still large numbers. A friend went on a hike in Flagler County, just north of my county of Volusia and saw huge flocks of hundreds in each on Saturday. So, yes, I believe this is one of the highest robin counts in my memory anyway.

Here is how our Christmas Bird Count breaks down for the past 5 years in the Daytona area only: 2002-1339, 2003-1007, 2004-834, 2005-1325, 2006-6500 (conservative). That suggests a robin irruption for this season. Check with your robin experts to see what she thinks. Imagine if this is Daytona what the rest of the state is reporting!!!!
