They were in an abandoned quarry that has been reclaimed. It is Kerncliff Park in north Burlington just off Hwy 5 west of Brant St.There was about 12 in the flock feeding on Sumach & a type of berry. The attached pic. might help to ID the type. The weather was sunny,windy approx. 11:00 am. The area was in sort of a hollow which afforded the robins protection from the wind. I have a question. As you will notice in the pics the red is not as intense from one bird to the other are these separate species of the same bird?
