The loon is currently swimming around in our large water fountain pond at work. We thought it was a duck but noticed that it dives into the water and stays down for over a minute. It doesn't appear to have the speckled markings on the back. It is solid black with a white stipe mark. I tried to feed it thinking it was a duck but it moved away and was not interested. shreveport biospace center pond.
