We had a snowstorm the previous Tuesday that deposited between 8 to 10 inches of new snow. Then the temperature plunged to between 10-15 degrees. But on Sunday, February 18th, the predicted last day of the Artic cold spell, a robin landed on my back stoop. The next day the temperature rose into the 40's. Did it swoop in just ahead of the warmer weather?
