Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/20/2007

Number: 1

Good afternoon. Yesterday I opened my front window blinds to find a HUGE flock of robins in my Yuapon Holly tree. Which is full of red berries. It looked like my tree was growing birds! Some of the robins were fully colored, some not as orange on the breast. I did not know robins flew in flocks. Along with the robins, I saw 3 or 4 cedar waxwings in full color. I also noticed a huge hawk far enough away, but close. We usually don't get the BIG hawks in the city. I have been here 6 years and have never seen this flock before. Also I am smack dab in the center of the city. It was exciting for me. I took pictures, but they didn't come out good. The birds stayed and ate for half the day. I have seen 2 robins in my yard, but the rest are gone. My driveway is full of bird poop! My car was covered in poop! I had to wash it 3 times. lol
