Hadn't seen any robins for about three weeks, and then today while I was looking out my back door I saw the sunlight glinting off the warm coral-colored breast of one as it perched on a Virginia Pine bough in the woods directly behind my house. It wasn't long before I noticed several of its friends all about the woods as well, for a total of about eight, the largest 'wave' of them I've seen yet this winter.
