Feb 12th @ approx. 800 am I heard a single American Robin singing at 500 E and 300 N Feb 18th @ approx. 1130 am, I heard two or three American Robins singing in the vicinity of the Logan Canal trail.
And, today, Feb 21 @ approx. 750 am I heard up to two American Robins singing around 400 E and 300 N.
This was their signature song (cheery-up, cheerio, cheery-up, cheerio) that I heard. I have noticed the male Robins already starting to defend territories through vocalizations and posturing, which I noticed this afternoon, which is starting to draw females in their direction.
