It's 38 degrees out and we had snow flurries this morning. I went out to refill a feeder and Mr. Rufous came flying up, a couple of weeks earlier than usual. I have had several Anna's overwinter this year. I'm 1 block from the beach. I have been feeding my hummers for about 8 years. I have two, four port feeders and at the peak of the season I have to fill them daily. My hummers will even perch on my finger while they drink.
