Last week we spotted our tulips coming up in the snow! We were excited!!! We thought that a pesky squirrel in our school garden had dined on all of our tulip bulbs over the fall and winter. After we planted our bulbs in the fall, we had a warm spell that lasted through December and into January. So our winter came late around February 1, 2007 actually. The bulbe are up about an inch and looking very healthy right now.
