I've already seen some milkweed "babies" emerge, but we have had a warm winter this year.

We recently lost many acres of milkweed "fields" (once again) here in Davie as a local dairy owned by the Waldrep family was sold for residential development. The fields were blanketed with milkweed during the time the dairy operated here, since the 1960's.
