Date: 03/04/2007

Number: 1

I take a trip to the Lackawaxen River where it meets the Delaware River once a year. At this time of year I have always seen Eagles. In a 2 hr time span I spotted 4 Bald Eagles and 3 which I believe to be Golden Eagles.I described one of the Eagles pearched in a tree on the Lackawaxen River PA. to a photographer I met that morning and while I was speaking to him another Eagle flew overhead and the photographer assured me it was a Golden Eagle. The area I'm speaking of is where the Robeling Bridge crosses from Lackawaxen PA into New York State RT 97. In the 4 yrs I've been making this trip I have been fortunate enough to see Eagles each time.
