We spotted the first male red-winged blackbirds in our backyard after a heavy rain. We looked out to see approximately 8 birds sitting in our Mimosa Tree. They seemed interested in the black oil sunflower seeds and the bread crusts that we had in the feeders. We have yet to spot any females.
