Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/12/2007

Number: 1

I was on my way to work when I saw two robins along the edge of a field, on the ground hunting for food. It was pleasant to see them. I've been waiting for spring since last fall. It won't be officially spring until I hear the toads sing.

To get robins in my garden right now is a bit of a stretch. I don't have enough cover for them yet. As the trees and bushes are growing and thickening, I've been seeing more and more robins visit, but not stay. They will eventually.
